Born and raised in San Francisco, the Bay Area exposed Caroline Marshall to a wide range of creative and expressive forms. At an early age, she fell in love with painting and discovered her passion for printmaking through the medium of intaglio. Caroline ventured to Dallas for college, earning a degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Studio Art from Southern Methodist University. Returning to San Francisco, she studied graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, embarking on a career in package and collateral design, which allowed her to combine creativity with business.

After designing for companies like Bare Escentuals, Old Navy, and The Guardsmen, Caroline segued into interior design. She is currently remodeling a 58-acre agrarian property in Livermore, which features an olive orchard, the original 1902 ranch house, a carriage house,  and a barn where olive oil processing takes place, along with a tasting room. The rural setting hosts events and private parties, and Caroline is infusing the design with a subdued color palette and refined rustic style. She recently expanded her scope from the Bay Area to Baja, where she will draw on Mexico's unique landscape and aesthetics.
